Today I cut my skiing short because I wanted to go back to the house and get my camera. The sky was so incredibly clear and the sun was amazing. I figured if I hustled I could get back and ready just in time for a sunset time lapse. Well, I was nearly right. By the time I got back out with my camera gear the sun was beginning to be blocked out by clouds. Rather than drive an extra 15 minutes to try and get to where I was planning on shooting I stopped and set up in the center of a tiny town in Vermont in hopes that the clouds would break and I’d get the sunset. Well, my hopes were dashed. As the time kept moving, the clouds seemed to linger. Tonight, I share with you a short and boring time lapse FAIL. Why? I don’t know really. I spent a lot of time and energy creating this disappointing project and I’m sure I’m not alone. Anyone else have some horror stories to share?
