I have been extremely busy and have not had time to post much to this blog, hope to get back at it soon. For now, take a look at this short video.
I shot this profile piece a few weeks ago for the NCAA. It is a great story about a young baseball player, named Dillion Coleman, who overcame odds and made an inspirational impression on the Gordon College team.
The feature was shot on Sony F3 with Zeiss CP.2 lenses. I used the Vinten Vision Blue 5 tripod and the Kessler Stealth slider. I diffused sunlight during the interviews using Flex Fill silks and bounce cards. No lights where used. I was fighting a battle with the sun during Dillon’s Dad’s interview. Wish I had an HMI light for that one. It was sunny one minute and cloudy the next, with no stopping, we just had to deal with it!
This whole project was shot in a single location in about four hours. We had a sound guy and a field producer from Turner Sports.
